On the previews Merlin season 3 episode 10, we witness how fruitful love is. Arthur is willing to give-up everything he had just to be with Gwen however Morgana poisoned Uther’s mind and in result Gwen is ordered to be executed. In wake of Morgana’s actions, Merlin must quickly devise a plan to save Gwen from a horrible fate. He emits a dangerous spell that could turn himself into an old person so that all the blame will be on him. It was a success the big problem is, Merlin couldn’t transform himself to his original form plus any moment he will be burn in fire. Gladly, Gaius arrived just right on time and tactically passed the antidote to Merlin. On the end of the episode, everything was restored while Arthur and Gwen agreed to make things secret until Arthur becomes the King of Camelot.
This Saturday, November 20, 2010, the adventure continues in “The Sorcerer’s Shadow” which is the 11th episode of Merlin season 3 and the 37 episode of the entire seasons. It tells about a new tournament descends on Camelot, and a warrior known as Gilli sets his sights on victory. Gilli uses magic in the tournament to increase his chances of victory, and by doing so he begins to realize the true nature of his powers. Merlin is torn between two options: will he choose to help Gilli or save Camelot?
