Ever wonder what’s new on CW? Aside of course from the comeback of the most watched Supernatural Season 6? Never heard HELLCATS? Hellcats is the new show of CW this fall and guys believe me this is the show we should look after. It is based on the book Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders by journalist Kate Torgovnick. If you read the book then you sure have any what this TV series is all about then. Hellcats is an American cheerleading, teen drama, and comedy-drama series, it stars Alyson Michalka, Ashley Tisdale, Robbie Jones, and Matt Barr.

HELLCATS is expected to have 13 episode which premiers last September 8, 2010. Hellcats revolves around Marti, a pre-law college student at Lancer College in Memphis, Tennessee. But things happen out of her expectations when budget cutbacks and her mother’s carelessness cause her to lose her scholarship; she is forced to look for a new one. Seeing no other option, Marti decided to use her previous gymnastic training to try out for a spot on the cheerleading team, and a chance to get the scholarship that comes with it. This is after she overhears that one of the college cheerleaders has become injured, and a place on the team is available. It seems fate is on her side with the help of Savannah Monroe, the head cheerleader. Marti makes it onto the Hellcats, the college’s competitive cheerleading team. This is where everything started, laugher, joy, drama, competitions to win and love to handle. Will this law-student handle all of this? How about Alice Verdura, the cheerleader she replaced in the squad after a bad injury? Can we expect a rivalry between these two?
