The town of Mystic Falls, Virginia was covered by dark secrets. Vampires, werewolf’s and other powerful creatures live in this town as if their normal people but once the ground and sky covered by darkness, roared will be heard and silent battle happened. Elena Gilbert is just a normal girl who lives in Mystic Falls, Virginia. She is the adopted daughter of Grayson Gilbert and Miranda Sommers Gilbert, and the older sister of Jeremy Gilbert. She later learns that her biological parents are Grayson’s brother John Gilbert and his high-school girlfriend Isobel Flemming-Saltzman.

Last week, on the previous episode of the Vampire Diaries (Daddy Issues); Elena’s biological father (John Gilbert) returns to town who revealed to Damon that his back in Mystic Falls, Virginia to protect Elena. I was about to believe that but after I saw the last part of the episode that John is still working with Katherine and trying to get her out of the tomb, I’m starting to have a second thought. Who really is John aside from being Elena’s father?

The Vampire Diaries season 2

The town of Mystic Falls, Virginia got real secrets and it was scary. This is the town where supernatural things happened such as the existence of modern vampires as well as werewolves. And Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) is one of those many people who experience its claw.

She is the main protagonist of the series and the author of the titular “The Vampire Diaries“, in which she records everything that happens to her. She lives in a live which nothing but dangers. In season 2 of the series, Elena’s connection with Katherine continues to put her in serious danger. She breaks up with Stefan, in an unsuccessful attempt to protect her family and friends. As a human doppelganger (unlike Katherine, a vampire), Elena is sought after by several of the eldest vampires, including Klaus and Elijah, as part of a powerful spell. Elijah saves Elena from one of Klaus’s abductions attempt, and reveals that he does not want to hurt Elena, but intends to use her to draw Klaus out of hiding and kill him. In exchange, he promises to keep Elena and her friends safe, and rescues Stefan from imprisonment with Katherine.

This Thursday, February 3, 2011 in “The Vampire Diaries season 2 episode 13” (Daddy Issues), Elena’s real father is about to return. Johnathan Gilbert’s return to Mystic Falls comes as an unhappy surprise to Elena, Jenna and Damon. This man got a real surprise on his hand and that is the thing we should know.

In addition to the newest episode of the series, Caroline lets Stefan know about her conversation with Tyler, and Stefan does his best to reach out to a confused and conflicted Tyler.
