A police procedural drama accompanied with the use of mind power to solve crimes and seeking revenge. Patrick Jane played by Simon Baker is seeking justice for the loss of his wife and daughter who was formerly had a lucrative career as a con man, joined the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in homicide investigations by incorporating elements of his experience as a mentalist. Red John, the vouched enemy of Jane killed Jane’s wife and daughter. To seek revenged, he subsequently abandoned his job as a psychic and teamed up with the CBI. Patrick was able to set traps for the suspects and witnesses to reveal the truth. The concept of the series is to let the people know that sometimes, even the unnatural can be a way in solving crimes. But as take note, even though the skills may come in handy, but the use of knowledge and skills is far greater than faking what is natural.
